Our Patron: King Phillipe

Financial crises and poverty are sadly nothing new. 150 years ago His Majesty King Leopold II supported the creation of the Royal Belgian Benevolent Society to help Belgians living in the UK who had fallen on hard times.

Today the RBBS is still helping Belgians in need living in the UK. The RBBS also continues to help young people to achieve their academic or artistic goals.

RBBS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD in association with the LSHTM

The Royal Belgian Benevolent Society is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Belgian student interested in studying at Europe’s leading school of public health, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

Scholarship support will be provided to a student who has been offered a postgraduate place at the London School on a course of their choice. The financial help offered is to enable the student who for financial reasons would not otherwise be able to take up a place at the London School. Find out more about the grant and eligibility criteria.

Interested applicants are advised to review the eligibility criteria and to complete an Application Form (pdf).

Eligible applicants will need to return their application form to the LSHTM Scholarships team by February 28th.
